Is at-home ketamine a good option for some patients?

The short answer is YES. And the long answer is:

At Ketamine Center of Central Georgia, we understand that mental health struggles and physical pain are not well suited to a "one size fits all" approach and although many patients require a multi-infusion induction series for best results - some patients are good candidates for stand alone or combinative at-home low dose ketamine therapy—a safe, effective, and convenient option that can offer relief from conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic pain.

What is At-Home Ketamine Therapy?

At-home ketamine therapy uses low daily doses of ketamine to treat mood disorders and chronic pain and depending on the patients needs, can be used on its own or in conjunction with in-office infusions. The dose is intended to be strong enough to keep a level of baseline activity on your receptors while being gentle enough to avoid the psychedelic disassociation that is common with in-office IV treatments. The medication is specially prepared in the form of lozenges (dissolvable flavored tablets) as well as topical pain creams and then conveniently shipped to your home with continued access and support from our team.

"Troches" or "lozenges" are specially prepared dissolvable tablets made to your doctor's specifications.
