Treatment Protocols and Pricing

Although Ketamine Center of Central Georgia is not currently in-network with any insurance providers, we can file an “out-of-network” benefits claim with your insurance company (after each infusion), and they may reimburse you directly after you have pre-paid for treatment.

Reimbursement amounts will vary among insurance plans, and we are happy to perform a “benefit check” at your request. While your insurance may not cover the full amount of treatment, many of our patients have had success recouping a significant proportion of the cost.

New Patient Consultation:

Prior to scheduling treatment, all new patients must have a consultation with Dr. Greenberg to determine if they are an appropriate candidate for IV ketamine therapy.

Initial consultation fee: $65 (approximately 30 minutes)

Dr. Greenberg is happy to see you either remotely via Zoom (as a “telemedicine” consultation) or in person, if desired.

You can schedule your consultation here.

Treatment Protocols:

Treatment protocols differ between mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders.

These treatment protocols are the ideal, based upon the best currently available medical/scientific evidence, but we understand that various factors might make it difficult to keep to them precisely. Ultimately, we believe in tailoring treatment to respond to the individual needs of each patient.

For mental health conditions:

IV ketamine infusion visit: $365 (approximately 1 hour)

Initial “induction” infusion series – six IV ketamine infusions administered over the course of 4-6 weeks.

Payment for each infusion can be made at the time of treatment, or all 6 infusions can be paid at once for $1970 (a 10% discount).

Periodic “maintenance” (or “booster”) infusions may be necessary to sustain positive results. These are usually necessary no more than once every 1-3 months, and may be scheduled as needed.

For chronic neuropathic pain conditions (including fibromyalgia):

The treatment protocol for chronic pain conditions is different because it requires higher doses of ketamine (though still significantly lower than required for anesthesia) and longer infusion times.

IV ketamine “pain” infusion visit: $775 (approximately 4 hours)

Initial “induction” infusion series for pain – four IV ketamine infusions administered on four consecutive days (or as close together as possible).

Payment for each infusion can be made at the time of treatment, or all 4 infusions can be paid at once for $2790 (a 10% discount).

One “maintenance” (or “booster”) infusion is generally recommended 4 weeks after the initial series in order to sustain positive results. Subsequent “booster” infusions may be scheduled as needed.

For migraine headaches:

As with other chronic pain conditions, the treatment protocol for migraine headaches is different because it requires higher doses of ketamine (though still significantly lower than required for anesthesia) and longer infusion times.

IV ketamine “pain” infusion visit: $775 (approximately 4 hours)

One IV ketamine "pain" infusion, followed by a second infusion 4 weeks later.

Payment for each infusion can be made at the time of treatment, or both infusions can be paid at once for $1395 (a 10% discount).

“Booster” infusions may be scheduled as needed.

Payment can be made via credit/debit card, cash, check, HSA/FSA, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay,
